If Tom Hanks stuck to piano lessons for at least one more year, I believe he could have performed something much more impressive than Heart & Soul and Chopsticks at FAO Schwarz.
Maybe he could have done the rag time two step with The Entertainer or played the ever-popular piano darling, Beethoven’s Für Elise. Add hours of practicing Dance Dance Revolution (a serious test of coordination that I have failed time and time again), perhaps he could have even accomplished the impressive Toccata & Fugue by J.S. Bach as demonstrated by these big note piano virtuosos.
The pleasure in big note piano. Enroll your kids in piano lessons, make them practice, show them that learning can be fun, and commit to it. They’ll thank you for it.
Thanks Mom! I love you.
